To all those who deny the power and grace of a good Audience tape:

look upon this china rider, ye faithless masses, and tremble.

was in a recent debate about Aud tapes and this puppy won it for me.

Sure, the china rider was good... but it was the Scarlet Begs that had me really rockin.

I'm no expert on sound quality, but I do love China Rider, and wow -- this one is crystalline. I'm up to the PITB, and it's getting nice and "out there"! What's more, woo hoo! I actually managed a download!! It took a mere 1 hour and 10 minutes, here in The Country With The Second Slowest Download Speeds On Earth. Given what I'm reading about net neutrality, it seems folks have reason to fear something similar in the US, and for MUCH worse reasons. At least here it's just outdated technology that restricts internet usability, not corporate domination. FYI, with my speeds, streaming a whole show is impossible (cuz of buffering issues); it's easiest to just hit download, forget about it, and listen later. The lesson being: Appreciate streaming and bit torrents while you can, y'all. I'm not complaining; heck, I'm happy I've got it at all. (And I get cool things like cows and goats in the street to make up for it.) But in the US, I'd sure hate to see people dealing with what folks in the third world deal with -- and for no reason other than corporate greed ... Btw, check out the PITB>Wharf Rat>Truckin>PITB ... neat stuff, and great clear sound!!!
